    I enjoy hiking, I live for football season (go Hawks), random spontaneous road trips to destinations unknown, cooking is therapeutic for me and in my off time you can find me on the ocean or lakes across the country.

About Me

I have good personal relationship skills and am able to communicate well verbally and in writing. Experience includes a diversified background in economic development. Practical work collaboration with different aspects of tourism and economic vitality working in partnership with other like-agencies.  

I have prepared and given a variety of presentations for different audiences including city councils, the board of county commissioners, management teams, stakeholders, employees, colleagues, business leaders, the general public, legislators, civic and business organizations and neighborhood groups. I value professional management and am committed to on-going professional development.

I have had the pleasure of working with and developing a dedicated, effective and supportive team of staff and volunteers who are all champions of the organizations that I have worked for and who support the local merchants, businesses and the community.

Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce

Preside & CEO


As C.E.O. Responsibilities were to oversee the daily operations, work with the executive committee and the Board of Directors to develop strategic plans, goals, and objectives that align with the business needs in the region in correlation with the state of Wa. Over my 2 years with AACC we were able to achieve exponential growth from 352 members to 708 members when I left. Retention increased year over year with a program developed to activate chamber ambassadors. Developed and managed a staff of 3 employees and 2 contract employees. A positive budget revenue at year end of $23,000 achieved in the budget year 2017-2018.


Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce


Hired as interim C.E.O. to oversee daily operations, train inexperienced staff, develop and initiate a Political Action Committee with state and federal designation, create an 18-month strategic plan for the new staff and board of directors, assist with updating programs and events. Increased membership by 66 members in 8 months and created stronger retention numbers.

The overall goal was to strengthen the Chamber’s position with city officials, staff and the Downtown Association. All objectives of the M.O.U. (Memorandum of Understanding) were met and the new staff is moving forward.

Grass Valley Downtown Association


Responsible for the day to day operations of the GVDA including yearly budget planning, merchant and property owner inquiries and assisting in retention and recruitment of businesses to the downtown area, zoning and assessment services, assist business owners in finding services and suppliers, merchant updates through newsletters and e-mail blasts, network with businesses, marketing, promotions.

Work with the local and regional media to promote downtown. Work with Nevada County probation to provide youth and adult community service opportunities. Organize meetings and workshops sponsored by the GVDA.
